Description

This beautiful golden cake combines the earthy aroma of turmeric with the softness of a moist, fluffy sponge. Sweetened naturally with erythritol or sugar, and enriched with butter, eggs, and milk, it’s a perfect balance between indulgent and nourishing.

Ingredients
  • 290 g Flour (or Protein Powder)
  • 120 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 60 g Sugar (or Erythritol)
  • A little Lime Juice (or Lemon Juice)
  • 1 Baking Powder
  • 1 TS Ground Turmeric
  • 500 ml Milk (or Coconut Milk)
Instructions
  1. Prepare the base mixture

    In a mixer, combine Melted Butter, Sugar (or Erythritol), and Turmeric.
    Mix until smooth and well blended.

  2. Add the wet and dry ingredientsAdd the Eggs, then mix in the Flour (or Protein) and Baking Powder.
  3. Adjust the consistency

    Gradually pour in the Milk (or Coconut Milk) while mixing, until you get a smooth batter.

  4. Bake the first stage

    Pour the batter into a Baking Pan and bake at 160°C for 20 minutes.

  5. Slice the top

    Remove the cake from the oven and make a horizontal cut about 1 cm deep across the top of the cake.

  6. Bake the second stage

    Return the cake to the oven and bake for another 25 minutes, or until fully baked.

  7. Add the final touches

    When the cake is done, sprinkle with Lime Juice and brush the top with a glaze made of Sugar, Turmeric, and Lime Juice.
