This beautiful golden cake combines the earthy aroma of turmeric with the softness of a moist, fluffy sponge. Sweetened naturally with erythritol or sugar, and enriched with butter, eggs, and milk, it’s a perfect balance between indulgent and nourishing.
In a mixer, combine Melted Butter, Sugar (or Erythritol), and Turmeric.
Mix until smooth and well blended.
Gradually pour in the Milk (or Coconut Milk) while mixing, until you get a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a Baking Pan and bake at 160°C for 20 minutes.
Remove the cake from the oven and make a horizontal cut about 1 cm deep across the top of the cake.
Return the cake to the oven and bake for another 25 minutes, or until fully baked.
When the cake is done, sprinkle with Lime Juice and brush the top with a glaze made of Sugar, Turmeric, and Lime Juice.
