  1. Prepare the Dough

    Mix all dough ingredients into a smooth dough.

  1. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes.

  1. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened. Let it cool.

  1. Roll it Out

    On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a thin rectangle.

  1. Add the Filling

    Spread the cooled Poppy mixture evenly over the dough.

  1. Roll it up gently like a strudel and lightly press the ends to seal.

  1. Bake

    Bake at 180°C for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

  1. Let the roll cool slightly, then slice into mini rounds.

  1. Serve

    Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally dusted with a touch of powdered sugar or drizzled with a bit of warm date syrup. Pairs perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee for a comforting treat!
