  1. Prepare the Yeast

    In lukewarm Milk, dissolve Sugar and Yeast. Let it sit 10 min until frothy.

  1. Make the Dough

    In a bowl, mix Flour, Salt, and remaining Sugar.
    Add Milk with Yeast, Egg, and softened Butter.

  1. Knead until smooth and elastic.Ā 

    If sticky, add a little extra Flour.
  1. First rise

    Cover the Dough and let it rise 60 min in a warm place until doubled in size.

  1. Prepare the Filling

    Mix softened Butter, Sugar, and Cinnamon until creamy.

  1. Form the Rolls

    Roll out Dough into a wide rectangle (~0.5 cm thick).

  1. Spread the Filling evenly over the Dough.

  1. Roll the Dough tightly and cut into 5 Rolls.

  1. Second rise

    Place Rolls on a Baking Sheet lined with Parchment Paper.
    Cover and let rise 20 min.

  2. Bake

    Preheat oven to 180°C  and bake 25 min, until golden brown.

  1. Glaze

    Mix Powdered Sugar with 2 TS Milk.

  1. Drizzle over slightly cooled Rolls.
